Studying retail gives you the skills needed to work in a diverse range of retail settings including speciality retailers, supermarkets, department stores and quick service restaurants.

In this course you will learn how to sell products, provide customer service and ensure safety and security in a retail environment.

At this level you may work with some independence under limited supervision. You may be responsible for supervising other team members and monitoring day-to-day workplace operations.


How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment of competency will be assessed via the online portal.


Admission requirements

Entry to this course is limited to those who have:

? Literacy, Language and Numeracy Online Assessment: At a year 10 level or equivalent.


Course Duration (1 Year)

The nominal duration to complete this course is 12 months.  As this training is competency based, completion dates can vary from student to student however will not exceed the nominal duration.
